A Path to Connection and Community
What would happen if women started answering to what lit them up rather than what they felt obligated to do? And rather than each woman embarking on a solo journey to become a better parent, a better partner, a more empowered leader, or a more authentic version of herself, what if the missing ingredient in the good intentions of so many of us women reading books and listening to podcasts was a place where we could embark on that journey together?
We got curious, inspired, and driven. Then one day, we did more than just talk, we did more than just be curious, and we did more than want. We committed.
We founded Modern Revival because we believe that women need spaces where we can grow and discover our true selves while also in community.
We know from our own lived experience, that the ingredients necessary for self-transformation: laughter, acceptance, curiosity, perspective, clarity, and dialogue - can only be experienced in the presence of others.
Modern Revival provides the key concepts and exercises that enable us to practice in community what it means to be more fully present in our own lived experience. We developed the Modern Revival curriculum, guidelines, and structure so that women can safely learn, support, practice, and grow together, and we offer practical lessons and tools so that women feel empowered to use what they learn in their broader relationships and communities.
Revivalists will experience:
Engaging discussions: We guide curious exploration of one’s relationship to the wisdom of the body, intelligence of emotions, and power of our stories and beliefs. We encourage open dialogue, sharing personal experiences, and asking thought-provoking questions.
Practical exercises: We engage in various exercises and embodied practices that help us deepen our self-awareness, expand our perspectives, and develop practical tools for personal transformation.
Supportive community: Modern Revival is a community that offers support, encouragement, and a space for authentic connection. We believe in lifting each other up and fostering nurturing environments that encourage growth.
